General Safety Rules
Camping is not necessarily a dangerous activity
but "life in the woods" requires us to
follow certain safety rules just like "city
life" does. Please discuss the following
essential safety rules with your son:
- All water must be
purified with tablets before it is drunk.
- We do not have a fire
permit. It is absolutely forbidden to even
light a match except to light the sterno
stove in the campsite for meals
- No animal or snake is
to be touched. Report insect bites.
- Dishes are to be
sanitized as instructed.
- No horseplay, fighting,
or "fooling around".
- Stay with your team,
ALWAYS
- No food or "smellables"
of any kind in tents.
