Math League

The Math League is an after-school activity in which St. Benedict's Prep students compete with 70 other prep schools in the tri-state area.

The goal of the league is to encourage and develop students' interest in Mathematics by exposing them to tests and problem solving.

St. Benedict's students, ranging from freshman to seniors, prepare for and take four math tests. The math tests are administered four times each academic season. Our students, especially those interested in the sciences, are strongly encouraged to participate in the League's activities.

Trophies are awarded to individual students and schools for excelling in the series of tests.

To join, students must show strong interest in and have good aptitude for math (Trigonometry, Algebra and Geometry). They must submit their names to the League moderator, Mr. Oguh. They must attend all meetings and take all four tests.
