For people interested in working for the "transformation of lives" St. Benedict’s offers volunteer opportunities as
mentors, fundraisers, and ambassadors during the scheduled activities at the school. We are especially blessed with an
active group of volunteer parents who step forward when need exists. Our parents have made a strong commitment to St.
Benedict's and prove to be an invaluable resource. Most, if not all, are working parents who in spite of their busy
lives make themselves available, in the evenings and special weekends, to share their talent, time and energy. Parents
want to participate in activities where they can be involved in their son’s education.
Many parents serve as members of the executive board for the Parents Organization (PO). Volunteers can
take part in the phonathon or help mentor day or boarding students. Some parents work with the admissions department
during an Open House to help register and provide orientation for new parents and students, while others help spearhead
a major fundraiser each year. In addition, our parents cook for the Multicultural Dinner we host at the school.
For the intangible benefits and fulfillment, working to help further the mission of educational opportunities and
academic excellence of our young men, we invite you to experience the dedication to learning that permeates St. Benedict’s.
