Gray Bee Ministry
"And so we will establish a school in the Lord's service." -St. Benedict.
The Gray Bee Ministry seeks to develop the Catholic and Benedictine identity of the school by offering opportunities for community building, spiritual growth, and service to others. The Gray Bee Ministry is open to ALL students, regardless of their faith tradition. Students can join the ministry to receive activity credit or can make a less formal commitment to help when they are available.
Days of Reflection: On Holy Days of Obligation, the Ministry organizes a schoolwide Mass as well activities that pertain to the theme of the day.
Jesus Runs: Once every other month, students gather to make sandwiches and distribute them to homeless people outside of Newark's Penn Station.
