ST. BENEDICT'S vs. BLAIR ACADEMY

The Gray Bees, behind a scintillating 23-point effort from Ademar Santos, won its 9th state title in 11 years with a 76-55 verdict over Blair Academy on Friday for the NJISAA Prep A Championship. Santos, who went 5-of-6 from three-point range, ignited a frenzy from the home crowd in Dalton Gym by hitting three treys when SBP raced out to a 14-0 lead to start the game and never trailed. He then scored the first three buckets of the second half when the Gray Bees once again extended its lead to double digits after Blair cut the deficit to 32-27 at the half. Bralyn Smith scored 17 points and Alexzaye Johnson chipped in with 15 for SBP. Watch Highlights:
