Students in graduation
Middle Division (Grades 7-8)

Middle Division

The Middle Division (Boys and Girls, Grades 7- 8) provides emerging adolescents what they need most to be successful in school: a safe environment to learn and try new things, plenty of positive peer influence, and a community that instills responsibility for one another and accountability to one another.

It starts with our motto, “Whatever helps my brother helps me. Whatever helps my sister helps me," and distinctions you won't find at other schools: an 11-month academic year, Spring Phase dedicated to experiential learning and our nationally recognized model of student leadership, The Group System.

We are accepting applications for the 2025-26 academic year. Sign up for a Fall Open House to start the application process using the button below. Additional information is available on the How to Apply page.

In the Middle Division, the Group System is composed of five groups, led by five Assistant Group Leaders in Grade 7, five Group Leaders in Grade 8 and one Middle Division Leader. Pablo, the Middle Division Leader for 2019-20 talks about the role in the recent issue of St. Benedict's Prep magazine.
