Did you know?
90% of Americans do not itemize their charitable deductions. If you’re one of them, the CARES Act allows you to deduct donations to charity of up to $300 on your 2020 federal tax return, even if you take the standard deduction. Married-filing-jointly taxpayers will get an above-the-line deduction of up to $600. This means you can get a tax benefit for giving to St. Benedict's Prep even if you normally don't itemize your deductions. For more information, please be sure to contact your tax advisor.
Don’t forget to tune in each weekday at 8 a.m. for Virtual Convocation, a must-see as alums have been coming out to view and interact for nearly 10 months during the pandemic. Join us for our morning prayer, song and affirmations on St. Benedict’s Broadcast Channel on YouTube. Convocation has become a virtual Who’s Who when roll call is read – from grads around the world and graduation years that range from 1960 until the present. The alumni base also makes sure to let everyone know what Group they represent and keep the students accountable during attendance.
