Students in graduation

The Advancement Office and the Alumni Association sponsor many events throughout the year to bring alumni together.

Did you know?

90% of Americans do not itemize their charitable deductions. If you’re one of them, the CARES Act allows you to deduct donations to charity of up to $300 on your 2020 federal tax return, even if you take the standard deduction. Married-filing-jointly taxpayers will get an above-the-line deduction of up to $600. This means you can get a tax benefit for giving to St. Benedict's Prep even if you normally don't itemize your deductions. For more information, please be sure to contact your tax advisor.

Don’t forget to tune in each weekday at 8 a.m. for Virtual Convocation, a must-see as alums have been coming out to view and interact for nearly 10 months during the pandemic. Join us for our morning prayer, song and affirmations on St. Benedict’s Broadcast Channel on YouTube. Convocation has become a virtual Who’s Who when roll call is read – from grads around the world and graduation years that range from 1960 until the present. The alumni base also makes sure to let everyone know what Group they represent and keep the students accountable during attendance.

Turn Yourself In! Have you started a new job, won an award, got married or welcomed a child to your family? Let us know. We are currently working on the Summer 2021 issue of St. Benedict's Magazine, so if you have news to share with your classmates, keep us informed. Submit your requests to Noreen Connolly at to be included in the next issue of our magazine in the Class Notes column.
