Ronald Kigen won the Brown Invitational cross country meet on Saturday in Providence, R.I. Kigen, who posted a winning time of 15:21, led the Gray Bees to a fourth-place team effort with Jaron Jordan placing eighth in 15:41 and Alfred Chawonza 12th in 15:52. Lewis Ngwenya (16:28) and Jackson Burnett (16:51) rounded out the top 5 for SBP, which established a school-record for overall combined lowest time (1:20:14.59), eclipsing the mark of 1:20:46.1 set in 2006 at the Essex County Championships. It was also the top time in the state this season.
