Celebrating the Classes of 2023

St. Benedict’s Prep sent 136 Gray Bees into the world following two exuberant Commencement exercises held on June 3 and 4 for the Girls and Boys Prep Divisions. Themes of trust and community were reiterated by graduates in both celebrations, which marked the 149th Commencement of the Boys Prep Division and the third Commencement of the Girls Prep Division.

Five members of the Class of 1973 — who missed out on their own Benedict’s graduation when the School closed in 1972 — attended the Boys ceremony. Fifty years later, the alumni received their Golden Jubilee Diplomas and rang the George T. Coker ’61 Bell. Commencement was preceded by the Senior Awards Dinner held on May 31 (Girls Prep Division) and June 1 (Boys Prep Division).
