Communion Breakfast

After a two-year pandemic hiatus, more than 100 alumni and friends gathered in person for the Alumni Association’s Annual Communion Breakfast on March 27. Those recognized this year included Honorary Alumna Francine Esposito, pro bono counsel to St. Benedict’s for more than a decade. Sr. Maureen Walsh was honored with the Distinguished Service Award for all her work, including her exceptional gifts as a teacher of humanities and English; David Rodriguez ’96 received the Distinguished Teacher Award; and Torian J. Easterling ’99, M.D., M.P.H., was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Senior Alumni Luncheon

The Breakers is back! After two years, the annual Senior Alumni Luncheon, for any St. Benedict’s alums who graduated 50 years ago or more, was held on June 10 at The Breakers in Spring Lake. Joe Alexander ’46 and Mary Shanahan BA ’48 were recognized as the oldest alumni in attendance. Thank you to all who attended!

Spring Golf Outing

It was a beautiful day on the course at Galloping Hill Golf Club in Kenilworth. On April 11, alumni and friends of The Hive teed off at our Spring Golf Outing to benefit Gray Bee Athletics.
