Alumni Association Communion Breakfast

Gratitude, faith and community were on full display at the 2025 Alumni Association Communion Breakfast on March 30.

We proudly recognized this year’s honorees for their incredible contributions to The Hive.

Special congratulations to our 2025 Distinguished Alumnus Naml Lewis ’93 and a heartfelt thank you to our 2025 Honorary Alumni for the love, time and dedication you’ve shown to St. Benedict’s (L to R): Brian Collins H’25, Michael A. Fazio H’25, John Rowe H’25, Analisa Branco BA ’00 H’25, Mario Gallo H’25 and Naml Lewis ’93.

Class of 1964 60th Reunion

The Class of 1964 celebrated its 60th Reunion on October 18, 2024. Twenty-eight classmates and spouses, some traveling from as far away as California and Oklahoma, began the day attending Convo. A tour of the Property, led by two members of the Class of 2025, followed. Attendees also took time to present the 50 senior women of the Class of 2025 a copy of Dr. Jane Goodall’s inspirational tome The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times. This was the third year a similar gift was presented. It is meant to bridge the generations and welcome the ladies to the Alumni Association after graduation. The classmates and spouses then got together for a luncheon at Roma Restaurant in North Arlington to complete the day’s events. 

Members of the Class of 1964 also assembled at Ye Olde Rathskeller in Cranford, N.J., on January 11 for the first of its bi-monthly luncheon get-togethers. “Honorary” classmate and Special Olympian Michael Walter joined. Mike participated in his 17th consecutive “Freezin for a Reason” Ocean Plunge raising money for the Special Olympics on February 22. All classmates are encouraged to join future lunches.

The spirit of community and shared memories were alive and well as the Classes of 1985 and 1995 gathered to celebrate their reunions at Adega in Newark on May 30. 

 

Senior Alumni Luncheon

The annual reunion for alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago was held at the Breakers Hotel on June 6. Fr. Ed briefed the crowd on events at The Hive and current students mingled with St. Benedict’s alumni and Benedictine Academy alumnae.

 

Alumni Association Golf Outing

It was a hot day on the course, but Gray Bee alumni and teammates turned out at Hendricks Field Golf Course for the annual Alumni Association Golf Outing on June 23.
