Grossman Student Investment Fund Gives Back

Gray Bee Investors, the student-run investment club, presented a check for $3,847.06 to benefit the St. Benedict’s Prep scholarship fund on May 12. With guidance from faculty and alumni with professional finance backgrounds, student-investors oversee a $100,000 portfolio established by the Grossman Family Foundation in 2022. A portion of returns is reinvested into student scholarships each year. 

Chief Advancement Officer Michael Fazio H’25 said that this year’s gift was especially notable given the recent volatility of the stock market. “The fact that you all were able to create these earnings that go back to the School so that we can fund scholarship support for all of you…super impressive. Let’s do it again.”
