Onward and Upward

The final week of the 2024-2025 academic year was marked by Moving Up Ceremonies for sixth-grade Elementary Division graduates and eighth grade Middle Division graduates and Graduation Ceremonies for 46 graduates in the Girls Prep Division and 101 graduates in the Boys Prep Division. At the 151st Commencement of the Boys Prep Division on June 1, Senior Group Leader Jonathan Martinez ’25 spoke about the enduring value of leadership at The Hive. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a Benedict’s man or a Benedict’s woman,” he said. “It doesn’t matter if you graduated 50 years ago or you’re graduating today. To be a true leader is to be there for the people around you — your family, your teammates, your fellow graduates. As we begin our new journey, let’s never forget three things: the lessons we learned, the people we met — and most important — that we will always have each other.”
