The Elementary Division (grades K-6) will join the Middle and Prep Divisions in the 11-month school year beginning with Summer Phase in July. Headmaster Edwin D. Leahy, O.S.B. ’63, and Dean of the Elementary Division Sister Ann Marie Gass, S.S.J., announced the scheduling development in January. Extending the 11-month year to The Hive’s youngest students is expected to reap numerous benefits in creating a unified community experience and helping families with multiple children in the School, while providing additional time for students to acquire academic and life skills. Summer Phase 2024 will begin on July 29.
