ST. BENEDICT’S CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY HONORS NEWEST MEMBERS

St. Benedict’s held its fall induction ceremony for the National Honor Society on Thursday evening, Nov. 14, in the Radel Library at The Hive.

The new inductees were lauded before family, students and faculty members of the school, including Physics teacher Rich Molina, St. Benedict’s 2006 Presidential Award winner, who was the guest speaker. Samuel Pineda ’21 provided the opening prayer, Giuseppe Loiacono ’21 presented the welcome message and Ibrahim Stradford ’20 explained what the NHS is all about.

The four pillars of the NHS where also described: Kevin Calle ’20 explained character. Chrisley Alexis ’20 talked about scholarship, while Jonathan Dulce ’20 covered service and Paul Granizo ’20 went into leadership.

The new members of St. Benedict’s Chapter of the NHS who were honored are seniors Reuben Kadushin, Chukwubuikem Ricard Ohia, Sean Eisape, Simon Ertle, Logisan Lorance, and Felix Clayton; junior Sunil Davis; and sophomores Nestor Martinez, Jaden Oates, Ilya Efremenko, Sergio Villar, and Andrew D’Arcy.
